Back to the cross-processing days, with Velvia 50! I love those colors and grains!

On the border of the states of Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais, home of Brazil's 5th higher peak, the Agulhas Negras (Black Needles Peak). With many trail options, we chose the hike of 13km, plus the climbing, to get to Prateleiras (Shelves Peak), at 2.548 meters high.

Piedimonte Etneo, Sicily - Italy

At approximately 3.350 meters, Mount Etna is Europe's highest volcano, and one of the world's most active. To the ancient Greeks, who had Sicily as the capital of "Magna Graecia" fore some time, it was the realm of Vulcan, god of fire, and home of the famous one-eyed monster known as Cyclops. In 396 BC, an eruption of Etna is said to have thwarted the Carthaginians in their attempt to advance on Syracuse during the First Sicilian War. Its last eruption ocurred in september 2007, throwing lava at 600 meters in the sky! And with that black lunatic landscape in front of you, why not shoot with some black & white film?!

Architecture, history, picturesque scenarios and streets, cheap beer, beautiful women and the world's biggest casttle are some of the things that make Prague one of the most beautiful and pleasent cities to be in Europe. But it is also one of the most haunted. The dead gamblers, mad barbers and murdered nuns that used to walk around its streets have given up on us. Most of these ghosts are now harmless souls, desiring only to be freed from their sentence of eternal haunting. But they are there, and if you are sensitive enough, you can feel it...just look carefully around.
